Because the internet and world wide web has become so important to the success of our businesses, we all need ''plain folks talk'' when needing help or have questions about this digital stuff. We strongly suggest that you visit the Kim Komando website, by clicking here, to see how it can help you get the answers you need.

We are Cherie and Celeste, two sisters from Wisconsin who are consumed by the art of Lampwork bead design.  We truly hope you enjoy our site!
No, of course this photo is not of us but rather of Barney,Coco,Val and newcomer Cooper who think THEY are the bosses.  (They are so adorable, we just love them).
We've been Lampworking now for twelve years and love it even more today than when we began.  It's the magic watching the glass melt that leads us to the endless possibilities of design and technique - we love creating new and unique jewelry and heirlooms.
When we began making our jewelry we couldn't find the kind of beads we wanted where we lived so we decided to learn how to make them ourselves.  It took a little schooling (and a lot of practice) before we began to feeling comfortable with our work and our results. Our first classes were from Malcom Potek and were we excited about the potential of developing our art. Thank you Malcom.  We recently attended classes presented by Michael Barley and WOW, was that a wonderful experience!!  We are so into bead making and feel we've hit our stride! It's an incredible addiction.

Here are some pictures of what we do and what's involved in producing our art. The Studio area doesn't have to be huge but we have to have an adequate supply of glass rods. We call our area ''The Torcher Chamber''...clever isn't it?
Our glass storage compartments are comprised of several 16 ft. PVC railings, cut to 12 inch lengths and stacked. Each container has three compartments that hold up to 2# of glass rods and are extremely strong. We used a mini scaffold with 2 x 10 inch planking. It's portable too because it's got industrial casters as well. We've tried lots of storage ideas and think we've finally found the answer!!
Tools of the Trade....
To date, our beads have been sold in stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Arizona.  We have requests from all over to put our beads in many locations, too!  (Where would the time to expand come from?).

We thank our many Ebay friends that have found us there and encouraged us as well.  We have many Ebay Auctions in progress so be sure and check our sales there.

Our goal is to provide you, our bead buddies, with an artistic experience that will last for generations.  Come on in, click around, you'll be sure and find just that right piece for your collection.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to click on the ''contact us'' page and we'd be happy to visit with you.

Thank you for your visit!
